Fullspot Factory France is a French language e-commerce website we created for use by a French retailer of our client O bag/Fullspot.
The site sells the Italian designed O clock watches, O bags and O sun Sunglasses in a wide range of designs and colours.
eCommerce websites with thousands of products are large projects in themselves; however this one needed to be in French. We translated thousands of fields, pages, graphics and descriptions and the website went live in Autumn 2014. We also manage it on an on-going basis.
O BAG ONLINE (previously Fullspot Market) is the online consumer sales division of our client, and the official distributor of O BAG/Fullspot products in the UK. They sell the Italian designed and made O bag and O clock watch ranges to over 100 countries around the world.
They needed a world-class eCommerce solution with full design, product set-up and taken-live service for over 5,000 product SKUs. We built the whole website and took it live within target. We have made many additions and amendments to it since and we manage the site on an on-going basis too.
The mix and match O clock watches have numerous dial designs and colours and numerous coloured straps made of stretch-silicone rubber; they are practical, stylish and comfortable.
The O bag is made of the same material as the shoes called Crocks (EVA), available in numerous colours and a wide choice of handles and accessories.
SEO - basically the website dominates Google Search - with 42 of 43 tracked keyword phrases being on page 1, and 90% actually first on page 1 - wahey!
Oct 2014 UPDATE - we've also now created the UK wholesale distribution website at www.fullspot.uk.com - which also dominates Google search, and another 10 more global websites (in Spanish, German, French and Portuguese).
eCommerce website highlighted features: in-depth search and sort, search including misspellings; a wish list; product comparison; user account management; customer product reviews; recent product history display; "You may also be interested in..."; extensive social media engagement; coupons and discounts, News Page, Photo Wall; secure 128 bit encrypted pages; product images with zoom; fast load using a global Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Cloud servers; Google Analytics; one page checkout; wide choice of payment card types and PayPal; currency choice; product popularity ranking; point of sale facility (customer present); 'email when back in stock' requests, etc.
TESTIMONIAL: "We needed eCommerce websites built for retail and for wholesale distribution. We expected the the design and build of the retail website to be complicated and a time consuming process given our specific set of requirements, but Roxbourne achieved all these with a minimal amount of effort from us, and most importantly beyond our original scope of expectation.
The whole process was completed in less time that one would expect you'd use just talking about it! That's enabled us all to spend quality time and budget polishing the bells and whistles instead of trying to develop them in the first place. Equally impressed with the distribution website Roxbourne created."
- Jordan Quinlan, Director - O bag UK
Masai is the retail brand name of Omega Automotive Ltd - a company with an automotive engineering pedigree going back 3 generations to 1953. With bases in Istanbul and Lichfield - they design, manufacture and sell a range of high quality vehicle parts, particularly for the iconic Land Rover Defender.
The Directors asked us to help them with global e-commerce and marketing strategies. The web sites we designed were immediately approved and the eCommerce system looks great, is fast and functions intuitively. More importantly, all the websites are successful - global enquires and sales have grown quarter upon quarter since we started working with Masai. We've also designed, setup and manage their successful eBay shop.
SEO: We wrote and search engine optimised (SEO) the vast majority of the text for their websites and product descriptions, and continue to manage their websites as more Masai products are designed and created. Their websites are 1st in Google Search for numerous products and they rank high for many many other keywords and keyphrases too - at least 90% of their key phrases produce page 1 results in Google Search.
TESTIMONIAL: "Roxbourne were just what we needed to help us market our family business. We were so busy with the day to day tasks we had no time to put aside for marketing and needed someone to guide us. Alex and Sean have produced very professional websites including a video and set up a corresponding eBay shop with very little input from us. They researched all our products and the market thoroughly and worded the descriptions in a way that has brought us onto the first page of Google for many items.
Alex has also advised us on editorials and classified adverts and will be helping us with our email marketing. Excellent reliability, understanding of needs and knowledge. More than satisfied with excellent service - very professional. Effectiveness: results seen immediately. Compared to previous: Much more pro-active, faster service and better value. I thoroughly recommend Roxbourne as a marketing consultancy". Sally Kuman, Masai/Omega Automotive, Lichfield.
Our client was in need of an effective ecommerce website for their range of E-cigarettes and E-liquids. Having considered it for a few years and with an aborted attempt made by another web designer, the impetus to finally get it done properly was based on a strong recommendation from one of our existing clients. Although the quality of our work and our testimonials usually secures us fresh clients, in this case the client was adamant from the start in their decision to commission Roxbourne, despite not even having looked at our portfolio. We obliged by creating a sleek, modern, easy to navigate, professionally sympathetic, search engine optimised and future-proof ecommerce website.
We brought in our Commercial Photographer to produce consistent and clear product images - crucial for encouraging visitor engagement and trust, but also to reflect the quality of the products and services provided.
TESTIMONIAL: "100% Complete satisfaction! Attention to detail - first class. Excellent reliability, speed and value for money. I have had great difficulties with other web designers. I don't think I can fault Roxbourne in any way, just a cut above the rest of the competition. I would highly recommend them to any company wanting to sell online.
Since the website was launched and as the site was optimised, we have not had to advertise and are obtaining regular orders, including repeat customers. Anyone that goes on the site says "Wow!!!!"
- Kal - Express Vapour, T/A KSS Distribution Ltd.
Our client, a long established and globally distinguished child psychologist needed an online presence for his practices. He approached us to assist basing his decision on the quality of our work and our references. We obliged by designing and creating three sleek, modern, easy to navigate, professionally sympathetic, search engine optimised and future-proof websites for the UK and International markets.
Coded using the latest standards - HTML5 and CSS3, also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on the smaller screens of iPads, mobiles and other hand-held devices.
One of the main features are complementary and suitable photos that liven up and break up the seriousness of subject. Another feature is a language translation facility as our client's services are provided globally.
Within the private medical professions the websites we created are comparatively modern and rather more carefully crafted - thus not only encouraging visitor engagement and trust, but also reflecting the quality of the services provided and the commitment to modern psychological assessment techniques.
Echo Of Eden design and create their own collections of hand made Wedding Invitations and Wedding Stationery. Their previous website was just a brochure and the proprietors decided it was time to start taking on-line orders and from further afield.
We designed and created a clean, elegantly understated, easy to navigate, search engine optimised and future-proof ecommerce website with appropriate supporting pages. We added all the products, descriptions and options and took the site live in less than one month. We coded using the latest standards - HTML5 and CSS3, also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on the smaller screens of iPads, mobiles and other hand-held devices.
We decided that it should be wide-screen parallax navigated by various vertical and horizontal menu bars, page links, scroll bar, keyboard arrow keys and also swipe on a touchscreen. The home page features a few graphic sliders to give an instant impression of what the site is about and just a scroll away below is the on-line shopping section, below that an About Us section. All these three sections are part of parallax home page but also reachable as pages from the menu bars.
Larger than normal product photos create a magnificent user experience and enable potential customers to quickly decide the invitation type, options and colours they like. Another feature is the ability to easily search by type, name, price range or colour.
As an ecommerce website selling wedding invitations it is a radical departure from the typical competitor but was instantly approved by the proprietor.
TESTIMONIAL: "Right from our earliest conversations we felt that we had found the right people to do our website. Roxbourne have made our website everything we wanted it to be - detailed product images, elegant yet with classic simplicity, dynamic and engaging. I am thrilled to see the system creates proper invoices and sales details. I can see how much work you have put in and we are truly delighted. We are getting some excellent comments from friends and relatives.
Many thanks for your excellent all-round service, we still can't get over how lovely everything looks! We will be recommending you! Kind regards".
- Carolyn Evans - Director of Echo Of Eden Ltd.
Timing Solutions is the leading provider of motorsport timing services in the UK. Although TSL provide a full service race timing solution, one aspect is the provision of transponders. A signal is sent from each race car, bike or kart by a device called a Racing Transponder, and is picked up centrally to record individual lap times and positions. This data is processed and served to pit crews, team head offices and TV broadcasters.
TSL was already selling racing transponders by order form but now wanted a more efficient e-Commerce solution. Their existing website provides numerous event results on an ongoing basis and because of that is regularly viewed by many thousands of customers on a monthly basis - thus it made sense, at least initially for us to integrate our e-Commerce solution into a dedicated page on the existing website, rather than delay matters to create a new website or carry out a complete overhaul.
We rapidly created a sleek, modern, fast, easy to navigate, professionally sympathetic, search engine optimised and future-proof ecommerce facility. We added their select range of race transponders, set up a secure payment gateway solution and took it live in approx a week. Less time and effort than expected was needed by the the client as we did our own research and scoping, and built and tested offsite before implementation onsite. There was no website downtime, and orders have been racing in daily since it went live.
TESTIMONIAL: "The ecommerce section of our website seems to be working a treat; impressed with it so far. Very good understanding of needs, reliability, efficiency, speed and effectiveness, good value for money too. Would recommend Roxbourne".
- Lisa - Timing Solutions Ltd
Fullspot Market Mexico is a Spanish e-commerce website we created for use by the Mexican distributor of our client Fullspot Global.
The site sells both B2C and B2B, with a range of Italian designed O clock watches in a wide range of colours. They also sell a range of Fullspot O bags made from tactile EVA. The e-commerce system is the same as the other Fullspot websites we've built - with numerous features and functionality.
eCommerce websites with thousands of products are large projects in themselves; however we needed to create this one in Spanish. We translated thousands of fields, pages, graphics and descriptions over two months, and the website went live in Oct 2013.
Sutton Park Kitchens is a brand of one of our clients. It was created to focus on the mass market in fitted kitchens for the Midlands, whereas their main brand had moved to the mid to high end over the last decade. To promote the new brand, one of their showrooms is being upgraded and a website was needed.
With the directors having minimal time, we took on the project management, and with just a broad and brief verbal guide and sets of photographs we set to it.
We designed and created a sleek, modern, pixel perfect, easy to navigate, professional, informative, search engine optimised and future-proof website with appropriate calls to action. We coded using the latest standards - HTML5 and CSS3, also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on the smaller screens of iPads, mobiles and other hand-held devices.
We decided that one of the main features should be hi-def widescreen photos of kitchens in fast loading galleries navigated by scroll bar, mouse click, keyboard arrow keys and also swipe on a touchscreen. These large detailed photos create a magnificent user experience and enable potential customers to quickly decide the type and colours they like. Strangely, widescreen photo galleries are rarely found on kitchen websites but much needed, as there is plenty of detail to look at within each kitchen and small photos provide a unsatisfying experience.
Another feature is the ability to easily search by price range or colour. Most people when looking for a new kitchen know roughly what their budget is, so pointless looking at low priced when your budget is beyond that.
Studio 5 Stage School is a dance school based in Rugeley, Staffordshire. Their website was old fashioned and lacking the vibrancy that it deserved. Using most of the existing written content we created a totally new and different design.
As web architects we had free rein to produce whatever we felt was high impact, memorable and suitable. The style we decided upon was colour coding each page to reflect colours found in some of the photos - either the stage lights or the clothing. We also decided upon using a full screen with left menu bar style to add an extra level of difference from typical websites. We also created a brand new logo.
We coded using the latest standards - HTML5 and CSS3, also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on the smaller screens of iPads, mobiles and other handheld devices. The radically different and tastefully colourful website we created was instantly approved by the proprietor.
TESTIMONIAL: "We are over the moon with the service provided by Roxbourne. Our old web site looked dated and wasn't really selling our school. The new site is great - a vast improvement on the old and in turn has seen a rise in general enquiries. We were also impressed with the speed at which the new web site was delivered plus any changes we've requested (new text, new photos, etc) have been made straight away.
Thank you for your first class service and we will definitely be recommending you! Kind regards".
- Heather Peskett - Principle of Studio 5 Stage School
Chris Peskett is a Close-up Magician, AKA a Table Magician. Chris performs all over the UK, particularly the west Midlands - as a Wedding Magician, a Restaurant Magician, and also at Parties and Trade Shows.
Chris's old website had a number of serious issues with the design, layout and coding, and there was a complete lack of search engine optimisation too - so we fixed it for him.
TESTIMONIAL : "...Roxbourne have improved my website ten fold. I thought I had a decent website before - Roxbourne have taken it to another level. I'm a Midlands based magician and perform at weddings, parties, restaurants and trade shows. My website had poor visibility in Google search and had some design issues, and words and photos were badly positioned and just looked wrong. So I called Roxbourne and they fixed it all. In less than 2 weeks my website went from 30th to 1st in Google for "Restaurant Magician Birmingham". Looking forward to moving up for other keyphases too. Very happy with your service first class from start to finish - you exceeded my expectations! Excellent speed too - other companies have made me wait a long time for results. I have already recommended Roxbourne to my mom for her business."

" Fiona Booker - Additions of Lichfield.

Heather is a highly-regarded Communications Coach; working with Senior Executives globally to help them become better communicators inside and outside their organisations. She needed a publishing platform for her writing and approached us having seen our portfolio, and being a local firm.
We built Heather's website using the WordPress web publishing platform and content management system - which provides substantial flexibility, customisation and easy addition of fresh content and functionality.
We designed a clean, modern, easy to navigate, professional, search engine optimised, future-proof and scalable website with language translation facility.
It features a blogging (article publishing) facility, visitor data tracking functions, search engine optimisation and anti-hacker security.

Alex took the time to really listen to what I am hoping to accomplish with my new web site and helped me to build a management platform that is both flexible and customised. I really like the "translate" the page feature which Roxbourne added. Alex is great to work with; responsive, creative and respectful of ideas from non-techie types like myself!"
- Heather Wagoner - Communication Coach (Global, Blue Chip)
Broadway is a long established luxury bespoke furniture manufacturer, and one of the leading companies in the UK for what they do. We had already overhauled their kitchen website a few months ago, so now was the time to focus on their other cabinetry. The directors asked us to help them further promote the wide capability of their craftsmanship, specifically the online marketing of their design, build and installation service for luxury bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, studies, executive offices, leisure rooms, etc.
Firstly, we knew this new website would benefit from being built on the state-of-the-art content management system - WordPress - which provides substantial flexibility, customisation and easy addition of fresh content and functionality. WordPress is superior in many ways to all other CMSs.
We created a modern, sleek, easy to navigate, professional, informative, search engine optimised, future-proof and scalable website, with tasteful calls to action.
It features a "Ken Burns" type effect banner photo slider with overlaid messages, a blogging (article publishing) facility so that their news and articles could be published online in an easy to search catalogue, extensive visitor data tracking functions, and anti-hacker security (there's a lot going on these days, particularly hackers trying to put malicious code on CMS based websites).
Click their website link to see what a Ken Burns Effect is.
We coded using the latest standards - HTML5 and CSS3, also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on smart phones. We modernised their logo, provided copywriting services, and carefully selected photos from their stockpile of thousands. We project managed everything and quickly got to grips with all that was needed; minimal input was needed from the busy directors.
KP Events is a leading organiser of running events in the Midlands: 2Ks, 10Ks, half-marathons and two specials - The Lichfield Cathedral Dash and the Xtreme Challenge. Now with 13 years experience they needed to a new website to greater represent their position in sports event management. A website that truly reflected the scale of their operation and assisted in gaining trust and loyalty.
After a briefing meeting we got stuck straight in: backing-up, upgrading their hosting to include a MySQL database, installing a content management system, customising the backend and frontend functionality, creating a new design and supporting graphics. We transferred the existing text and reworked the photos. Set up Feedburner RSS so that runners can receive eNews directly into their email boxes.
We set up a "contact us" form so that enquiries can be dealt with more efficiently. We put countdown timers on all the upcoming events - counting in seconds too - athletes care about seconds.
It has an auto-updating sitemap and longtail URLs to assist with SEO. They had some audio files of radio coverage of the 2010 Lichfield Dash so we created an audio page with an attractive and uncluttered audio player interface.
We designed and branded a more attractive downloadable application form and modernised a lot of logos and graphics on the site, including a route map for the Lichfield half-marathon. Sponsors are better represented - thus vastly helping KP Events to continue to secure suitable sponsorship deals.
The new site not only looks a lot better, it is easier to find what you are looking for, has a better search facility and the event application page is more informative.
We provide an on-going website management service too; updating with news about up-coming events and results of those past. The 2011 Lichfield Half-Marathon was an amazing success - and produced lots of fresh photos, videos and praise from many runners - 96% said they would do it again. The website had over 5,200 visitors in the 10 days around the Marathon (3,250 were unique).
TESTIMONIAL: "I'm really pleased with what you have done with our new website, very modern and up-to-date - IT'S GREAT! Very happy with the service - fast, effective and your understanding of our needs was spot on. I ask, and you do it straight away, that's all I need - perfect! I would recommend Roxbourne". Paul Griffin, KP Events.
"Roxbourne provide an excellent service - nothing is ever too much trouble, always on hand to help with our website when things need adding or changing. Would recommend Roxbourne without any hesitation." - Kevin Wilson, KP Events.

We added valuable new features - a blogging facility so that their news and articles could be published online in an easy to search catalogue, anti-hacker security, a photo slider and a caching service for faster load. We upgrading their hosting to include a MySQL database

This is a photoshop mockup of a website design for a jeweller. The final website once built would include an eCommerce shopping cart system with an online finance module, and SEO consultancy work - optimising the code and content for Google searches for all their numerous keywords.
This kind of website is a large project, some of the major aspects are the online finance module, building a comprehensive product spreadsheet for import into eCommerce system, management of the eCommerce system, client training, management of hundreds of images, checking for errors, User Experience testing, writing content, promotion and advertising support, etc.

Broadway Kitchens is a long established luxury bespoke kitchens manufacturer. They approached us needing help with their online marketing back in 2012. We redesigined their existing website and over the years we have added fresh content. In 2016 we designed and launched a brand new responsive version.
For Razorheads we designed and created a clean, sleek, modern, easy to navigate, search engine optimised future-proof brochure website.

London based Hero Media are a boutique TV production management company who specialise in creating small or lower budget TV commercials for online bingo companies. You may have seen their series of memorable TV advertisements and sponsorship idents for the likes of Tasty Bingo, Posh Bingo, Wink Bingo, 888 Ladies, all being aired on ITV.
Although an experienced team, they needed an online presence to showcase their joint work as Hero Media. The website needed to reflect their industry and personalities - cool, lively, bright and creative. White background, clean lines, sleek, modern, uncluttered, an active and media rich blog, pick list of various film/video work, informative text, map to office, contact form, RSS feed, etc. Compliant with W3C coding standards. Work in all browsers and mobile platforms. It also needed to help support marketing efforts - internet searches, advertising, word of mouth, social media, etc.
Search Engine Optimisation - Due to the way we wrote the textual content and code, and the 'keyword' and 'function' rich blog we added (which we encouraged them to regularly write posts for to establish authority, credibility and position in a competitive market) - the website should achieve some decent search rankings for their specialism.
The Stroke Comedy Club is one of the best independent stand-up comedy clubs in the UK - both the fans and comedians agree and so do we as fans ourselves. Established in 2002 and always a sell-out - it’s at The George Hotel Lichfield, Staffordshire - the first Thursday of every month.
The Stroke's manager Ken Jenkins (pictured with Rhod Gilbert, 2011) often books some of the top standup comedians from the London circuit to put on a full evening show of four acts including an MC. Ken sometimes also gives new-comers a chance with the short open mic slot in the middle.
The old website was in desperate need of an overhaul and so we set to it - installing a content management system (WordPress) to manage the show details, an RSS feed to keep fans up-to-date, a bright new logo, web optimised photos and coding for fast load, search engine optimised, visitor analytics, compatible with all popular browsers and mobile phones, social media engagement. We also manage the site content on an ongoing basis: updating the WordPress and plugin applications and adding new show details.

Tony is a novelist and found our website when he Googled "Web Designers in Birmingham". He said of all the dozens of web design companies he reviewed he felt we suited him the most. We met up and worked out a strategy to promote his recently completed adult thriller/fantasy novel called 'Splinters', with global promotion of both the paperback and the eBook.
Consumer and Market Analysis was carried out to decide on the most likely target market segment and the most suitable and cost-effective approach methods. The design brief - a modern, clean, easy to use site, fresh, informative and enticing the visitor to buy, search engine optimised and easily edited/updated with a Content Management System (CMS).
We were commissioned to produce an online brochure website for Citroën DS Hire in 2008. To give it the edge we decided to film a video and use it as an auto-loading graphic on the front page. This sold the specialist hire service very effectively as potential customers like to have a good look at what they are buying - particularly when it’s not an everyday item. Filmed and edited in-house by Sean Bullivant with a Panasonic AG-DVX100b.
We’ve done this kind of thing for estate agents too, videoing inside and out can really help sell a house, office block or anything really; if you want something sold, a well made video can make a real difference.
We also created an A5 leaflet for Citroën DS Hire. The design was approved, four hundred were printed and delivered within 3 days of the leaflet being requested. They were then distributed at a wedding fair and put into various wedding dress/cake shops.

As you can see we worked on a very wide variety of operational, creative and marketing aspects for Metalbone - the Rock Concert Management company. We were very pleased to have numerous airings of 5 of our videos of Metalbone concerts on the Sky Extreme Sports TV channel Ex-Tube programme in 2007 and 2008.
We worked on 3 main concerts with numerous UK Rock Bands including Inferno, Die So Fluid, Slipnot, DiaboliKill, Multi Purpose Chemical and Evil Scarecrow.
CHECK OUT www.metalbone.co.uk to see some of the promo videos or type “Metalbone” into YouTube.
Making promo music videos is not for the faint hearted. Most unsigned bands are short of cash but still expect a good quality video. While the higher echelons of the music industry still spend £25k plus, most unsigned bands struggle to find a few hundred pounds for their promotional videos.
The cheapest way is to make a LIVE Music video - get one of your concerts filmed; but clearly the band needs to perform well on the night, the sound has to be excellent – no bum notes or missed lyrics, etc. The sound engineer needs to be geared up for direct recording from the desk. The lighting has to be brighter than you would normally have at a gig; and you need 3 camera angles at least to make an appealing live music video. Once it’s carefully edited, the footage should be compressed for YouTube and other websites, and HD DVDs mass produced for sending to TV Broadcasters and selling to fans.
Sean who headed up the team that made the music videos for Metalbone has also filmed, and thus helped to promote, numerous other musical acts including: Charlotte Hatherley, The Wombats and The Hussys, and corporate clients such as Staffordshire Youth Service, Lichfield District Council, Future Home Care Ltd and Theatre Productions Ltd.
We redesigned the existing Mission Accomplished website in 2008; basically to improve the look, feel and usability for potential and existing clients. The requirement was for a smart, simple online brochure.
Mission Accomplished is a unique lifestyle management business based in Lichfield Staffordshire, serving Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.

Sean, Roxbourne’s head of creative services co-founded Pragmatic Productions in 2006.
As videographers they worked with clients in performing arts, music and local government.
"Pragmatic Productions recorded our DVD "Inferno Live", at The Palace, Tamworth in late 2007. We were so impressed with the quality of the videos that Pragmatic Productions produced for us, we wish we had asked for more tracks. The quality just blew us away. We have used the videos to get us played/exposed on Sky TV music channels, which has enabled us to get to a wider audience and it's due to the quality of the recording that Sean and his team produced. We will be going back to them for our next DVD, without any hesitation. 10/10."
James Lee - Inferno's Manager - 2008
"We worked with Pragmatic last year when they filmed some live videos for our band Captain Dangerous. The guys at Pragmatic Productions were great, their standard and professionalism was very high and it was more than a pleasure to work with them. Will certainly do so again"
William Kofi - Artist Manager & Label Boss of Synchronicity Records - 2008
"Pragmatic Promotions provided us with a top quality video recording of a gig my band headlined in Birmingham. Their professional and friendly service at a very reasonable rate make them a recording company we will definitely be using again."
