Horizon Fostering
Horizon Fostering Services is a fostering agency based in London. Due to a large demand for new foster parents, in 2012 Horizon needed us to modernise their website to help improve their online marketing efforts.
Firstly, we knew their website would benefit from using the WordPress content management system - which provides substantial flexibility, customisation and easy addition of fresh content and functionality.
Their old website had numerous issues, so we started from scratch and designed and created a sleek, modern, pixel perfect, easy to navigate, professional, informative, search engine optimised future-proof website with tasteful calls to action.
We included valuable features - a blogging facility so that their news and articles could be published online in an easy to search catalogue, anti-hacker security, a photo slider and a caching service for faster load. We upgraded their hosting to include a MySQL database.
We coded using the latest standards and also using 'responsive design' for easier viewing on smart phones and tablets. We modernised their logo, re-organised and search optimised their text and sourced complementary photography.
